“Kazakhstanskaya Pravda” writes about First Summit of Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States
Almaty, October 23 (AZERTAC). The “Kazakhstanskaya Pravda” newspaper has published an article on the First Summit of Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States held in Almaty.
According to the article, the Summit, held with the participation of presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan, Roza Otunbayeva of Kyrgyzstan and Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ, was very successful.
The article says “Following the Summit, President Nazarbayev told journalists that decisions adopted in Almaty will further contribute to fruitful cooperation of our friendly states and strengthen economic cooperation. These decisions will also help us establish joint mechanisms to overcome second wave of global financial crisis.”
The article goes on to say that the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries and Council of Elders, set up at the initiative of President Nazarbayev, give impetus to development of relations.
