Sales of ticket vouchers for Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku box offices start on April 23rd
Baku, April 21 (AZERTAC). Six fascinating shows of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 will be held in May in Baku Crystal Hall. Representatives of 42 countries will take part in them. Three of the six shows will be broadcast live on television.
According to the eurovision.az website, the public will be able to purchase tickets to participate in the Eurovision Baku show that will feature unusual stage design, moving light effects, which European audience has never seen before, and modern sound and video.
Baku box offices will start selling ticket vouchers for Eurovision Song Contest 2012 semi-finals, dress rehearsals for semi-finals, and dress rehearsal for the final, or the so-called jury final.
Ticket vouchers will be sold in 6 box officers in Baku according to the following rules:
- All tickets will be personalised and sold to the name of the relevant personTicket sales for the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be performed based on ID card only. Citizens under 16 can prove their identity with birth certificate.
- Ticket sales for the foreign citizens living in Azerbaijan will be performed based on their international passports.
- Every person can buy up to 10 tickets and needs to present ID cards or passports of the other people whom he buys tickets for.
- Payment will be made in cash or via credit card in the national currency of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Azerbaijani Manat.
- Ticket vouchers or tickets purchased cannot be exchanged, returned or passed to a third part.
It should be reminded that vouchers with special protection mark prove a person's purchase of the ticket to the relevant show of Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
Ticket prices will be 90-150 AZN for Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals, 30-50 AZN for the semi-final dress rehearsals, and 60-100 AZN for the jury final.
All the tickets provided under the national quota for Eurovision Song Contest 2012 Final on May 26 have been sold out.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Baku Crystal Hall near the State Flag Square.
Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
