Matt Sykes: A warm attitude in Azerbaijan has become an example for strengthening human ties in urban planning

“Now is the time to put the results already achieved into action and build new partnerships. Because when we talk about existing problems, we often know what the issues and solutions are, but what drives us and unites us is the relationships we have built,” said Matt Sykes, co-founder of the Swimmable Cities organization, told AZERTAC as part of WUF13.
According to him, this unity in Azerbaijan - the warm attitude shown by everyone from high-level leaders to volunteers - has created a very powerful example for us to advance human ties in this new chapter of the urban planning agenda.
