Member of Pakistani Senate: Voters could freely drop off their ballots at polling places

“Voters could freely drop off their ballots at polling places,” Member of Senate of Pakistan Afnan Ullah Khan stated at a press conference on the outcomes of the snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
Afnan Ullah Khan mentioned that they had arrived in Baku to observe the elections at the invitation of the Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis.
“Our team of seven observers monitored the process at three polling stations until the end. It was evident that voters were able to cast their ballots freely, and the elections were conducted excellently,” emphasized the Pakistani Senate member.
Underscoring that democracy is an important process for the development of every country, the Pakistani Senate member wished success to Azerbaijan. “We hope that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan will be continuous,” he noted.
