“We arrived in Azerbaijan to monitor the snap parliamentary elections. So far, we have witnessed that the electoral process has been smoothly running. I express my optimism that the Azerbaijani people will elect their worthiest candidates, as that is the essence of democracy,” member of the Senate of Pakistan Jam Saifullah Khan told AZERTAC.

“We have come from Pakistan as friends of Azerbaijan to observe the elections. Up until now, we have witnessed the elections being conducted in a very free and impartial manner. We will also visit other polling stations to observe the election process there. Overall, everything is going smoothly,” the member of Senate added.
