“More than 700 trucks depart from Alat terminal of Baku International Sea Trade Port to Kazakhstan’s Aktau port on a monthly basis,” Director General of Baku International Sea Trade Port Taleh Ziyadov told journalists.

“Alat terminal is mostly designed for freight cars. However, we started sending trucks in May 2015.”

“We are transporting hugely loaded trucks from here to Aktau. If we sent 115 trucks last November, in December the number exceeded 800. There is an increase, and we will maintain this tendency,” Ziyadov added.
