NAM Youth Organization hosts meeting with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Uganda

On August 27, the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization (NAMYO) hosted a meeting between John Mulimba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Affairs of Uganda, Yalchin Rafiyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, as well as NAMYO members.
The participants of the meeting explored opportunities for cooperation, highlighting the importance of greater youth engagement in international processes. The organization of such events holds particular significance as Uganda currently holds the NAM chairmanship.
In his remarks, Minister John Mulimba emphasized the importance of youth engagement in organizational activities, their critical role in addressing global challenges, and their capacity to lead new initiatives.
During the event, participants provided a platform for young people to ask questions, as well as share their ideas and initiatives. These discussions are key to identifying new directions for future joint projects.
Participants also exchanged views on other issues of mutual concern, underscoring the importance of enhancing solidarity and cooperation among the organization's members. They agreed that such meetings are essential for promoting international cooperation among young people.
