The Turkish media outlets have widely covered the opening ceremony of World Leaders Climate Action Summit at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku, as well as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's participation in global discussions.
The leading Turkish media outlets posted a number of articles highlighting President Ilham Aliyev’s speech during the opening ceremony of COP29 Leaders' Summit. The articles provided insights into the agenda of the summit and the visit program of the President of the Turkish Republic.
Highlighting Türkiye’s efforts in environmental sustainability, the articles also featured the successful “Zero Waste” initiative launched under the patronage of Emine Erdogan, wife of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
