The visiting OSCE Chairman-in-Office, FM of Belgium Karel De Gucht on January 25 met with the leader of the Azerbaijan community of Nagorno Karabakh Nizami Bahmanov.

Speaking of the meeting, Nizami Bahmanov said the guest was informed about the facts on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict. He has expressed concern on non-settlement of the problem.

The community leader expressed regret for lack of certain measures after the OSCE fact-finding mission prepared a report on illegal settlement of the Armenians in the occupied Azeri lands, and called on the OSCE Chairman to take due measures to this end.

Nizami Bahmanov said he informed the guest on existence of secret prisons in the territories occupied by Armenia, as well as on drug planting and use of these territories for illegal drug smuggling. Head of the Azerbaijan community expressed deep concern with the mentioned facts and called on international community to make more active efforts in conflict settlement.
