Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar kicks off 3-day official visit to China

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, began a three-day official visit to Beijing on Monday at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi.
Before his departure, Senator Dar stated that he would discuss recent regional developments and other bilateral matters with the Chinese Foreign Minister.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his visit to the Chinese capital, the Deputy Prime Minister will hold in-depth discussions with Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the evolving regional situation in South Asia and its implications for peace and stability.
He is also scheduled to meet with other senior Chinese officials during his stay in Beijing. The two sides will review the full spectrum of Pakistan-China bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest.
The visit is part of the ongoing high-level exchanges between Pakistan and China and underscores the two countries’ shared commitment to further strengthen their All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
