Participants of the Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad visited the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs on Monday.

More than 80 Azerbaijani scientists from 23 countries first visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of modern, independent Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath at his grave.

They then proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity.
