Patrick Lau: Azerbaijan's projects for sustainable urban development are in the spotlight

“The event held within the framework of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) focused on the urban landscape of Baku and the projects implemented by Azerbaijan for sustainable urban development,” said Patrick Lau, Chairman of the Asian Habitat Society, at the session entitled "The Rechargeable Landscape Powering Sustainable, Resilient Housing with Nature-Based Systems.”
Patrick Lau shared his positive impressions about the city of Baku and approach to its development.
"Baku stands out as an example of a city that combines the principles of sustainability with an aesthetic approach, and some of the projects implemented to shape urban spaces are lauded at the international level," the Chairman added.
