A photo exhibition entitled "Heydar Aliyev 100: architect of prosperity" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, was organized at the Batumi State Musical Center.

Chairman of Government of Autonomous Republic of Adjara Tornike Rijvadze, members of the government and parliament, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, embassy staff, Consul General in Batumi Parviz Ismayilzade and staff of the consulate, Turkish Consul General in Batumi, diplomats, employees of SOCAR's representative office in Batumi and public representatives attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Arranged as part of the 10th "Batumi Black Sea Music and Art Festival", the exhibition features photographs highlighting different periods of the life and activities of National Leader, phenomenal personality Heydar Aliyev, his meetings with former President of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze and well-known socio-political, cultural and artistic figures of the world, as well as various books dedicated to the Great Leader.

The visitors of the exhibition noted world-class political figure, Great Leader Heydar Aliyev’s outstanding services in the development of not only the people of Azerbaijan and Georgia, but also the South Caucasus and Europe in general.

In his interview to journalists, Tornike Rijvadze noted that they feel great sense of pride for hosting such an important exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people and a close friend of the Georgian people.
