Plenum of Azerbaijan`s Constitutional Court approves CEC protocol on snap parliamentary election results

The Plenum of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chaired by Farhad Abdullayev, held a meeting to approve the results of the snap parliamentary elections held on September 1.
The meeting reviewed the constitutional case in accordance with special constitutional proceedings based on materials submitted by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) regarding the election outcomes.
Addressing the plenum, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission (CEC), highlighted the preparatory work for the parliamentary elections and responded to questions.
Experts and specialists also shared their views during the plenum.
At the end of the meeting, Farhad Abdullayev, Chairman of the Constitutional Court, announced the final decision on the election results for the Milli Majlis.
The decision of the Constitutional Court comes into effect from the day of its announcement and is final. No body or official has the authority to cancel, change, or officially interpret it.
