President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended June 22 in Baku the opening ceremony of surgery building of the Defense Ministry’s Central Military Hospital.

The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the building, and laid flowers at the bust of the national leader Heydar Aliyev erected in its lobby. Here, he also viewed a photo-stand “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow of the Azerbaijani People” reflecting services of the great leader in building of the Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces, and President Ilham Aliyev’s care about the army.

The Head of State was informed that the 6-storey, 300-bed surgery building covers the area of 14800 square meters, and is equipped with latest medical technology. He toured the rooms and wards at the hospital, as well as viewed ambulance cars equipped with all necessary devices.
