President of Global Council for Tolerance and Peace: Climate goals cannot be achieved without contributions of civil society

“The support of civil society is essential. Without their effective contributions, climate goals cannot be achieved. We must protect our planet for future generations. Civil society not only plays a key role in the implementation of environmental programs, but also helps raise awareness about climate issues, inspiring decision makers to work harder,” Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP), told journalists.
He called on all organizations to promote the goals of COP29, and work together, and promote global peace and tolerance.
Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan also hailed the high-level organization of COP29, expressing his gratitude to the Republic of Azerbaijan and its people.
