President of Russia urges finding ways to end conflict between Israel and Iran
Moscow, June 19, AZERTAC
At a meeting with the heads of the world’s leading news agencies, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that it would be appropriate for all parties involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran to jointly seek ways to end it.
The Russian leader emphasized the importance of finding solutions that would simultaneously ensure Iran’s right to develop peaceful nuclear energy and guarantee the security of Israel as a Jewish state. “This is a delicate issue and requires great caution, but in my opinion, overall, such a solution can be found,” he noted.
Vladimir Putin recalled that Russia has completed the construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran and signed a contract for the construction of two additional power units.
According to him, the level of trust between Russia and Iran allows for continued cooperation in this area. The Russian side, he added, has communicated possible settlement options to the United States, Israel, and Iran.
“We do not impose anything on anyone; we simply share our vision of a possible way out of the current situation,” the President added.
