Record attendance for Minsk International Book Fair in 2025

Baku, March 17, AZERTAC
The 32nd Minsk International Book Fair drew 78,500 visitors, which was a record high for the exhibition, according to BelTA.
“This year the exhibition enjoyed quite a big, lively interest among Minsk residents, among guests of our capital. 78,500 visitors is the final figure as the exhibition closed on Sunday at 19.00. The organizers say that this is the highest in the history of the exhibition,” Belarusian Deputy Information Minister Denis Yezersky said.
Thus, according to him, it has once again proved that Belarusians are a reading nation, interested in literature.
About 240 events were held on the margins of the exhibition. “We seek to turn the exhibition into a communication platform of sorts,” Denis Yezersky said noting that it brought together many publishing specialists, literati, writers, printers.
“Technology doesn't stand still, the book business is moving forward. We saw quite interesting books that publishers brought to show. You know, there is actually a sense of pride for our book publishing because the Belarusian stands were very interesting,” the deputy information minister.
The 32nd Minsk International Book Fair was held in the Belarusian capital on 12-16 March.
