Rector Elbrus Isayev: Holding WUF 13 in Baku demonstrates Azerbaijan’s increasing influence in international urban development

“Nakhchivan State University was successfully represented at the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF 13), one of the world's most prestigious platforms,” said Elbrus Isayev, Rector of Nakhchivan State University, in his address at the "Smart City and Smart Village" startup festival.
The rector said WUF13 in Baku reflects Azerbaijan’s rising role in global urbanization and international trust.
Elbrus Isayev also praised youth activity at the “Smart City and Smart Village” startup festival, noting its importance for integrating technology into everyday life.
He emphasized that student participation shows growing innovation and startup culture at the university, which prioritizes digital skills and modern technologies.
