REGIONAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF ECOLOGY YET DOES NOT BRING THOSE PRACTICAL RESULTS, ABOUT WHICH PRESIDENT HEYDAR ALIYEV SPOKE

Heydar Aliyev also marked in due time that in each of republics of Southern Caucasus, it is necessary to create initiative eco-centers, which should be coordinated. But today the Center, as such, is only in Georgia, and in Azerbaijan several years ago has been organized information point with low limited activity. Also were noted lacks of procedural activity of REC, which, was noted, always passes closely. According to the representative of the ministry of ecology and natural resources Rasim Sattarzadeh, representatives of the ministry have ceased to participate in decisive meetings of REC, as their voice means nothing. Majority of the Commission are representatives of the Georgian side and consequently, the opinion of our side in any case remains not accepted. He also has addressed the young head of information point in Baku with a wish that he supported interests of Azerbaijan more actively. The head of information point in Baku Ilkin Kengerli, in turn, has noted, that REC has been created on the basis of idea if regionalism, but its was not planned to finance the national eco-centers by the European Union.
