RESOLUTION OF SOCIAL PROBLEMS OF PEOPLE IS A CONSTANT FOCUS OF AZERBAIJAN GOVERNMENT
CEREMONY OF PUTTING INTO OPERATION OF BUILDING FOR FAMILIES OF SHAHIDS AND INVALIDS OF GARABAKH WAR IN ISMAILLI REGION
PRIME-MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC ILHAM ALIYEV ATTENDED THE CEREMONY
Prime-Minister of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the ceremony.
The Prime-Minister cordially greeted the ceremony participants and expressed gratitude to them for participation in the meeting and the kind and warm attitude shown towards him.
He described the day as a holiday saying “today in this beautiful nook of Azerbaijan, Ismailli, we are celebrating the opening of the apartment house built and putt into operation by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population at the instruction of esteemed Mr. Heydar Aliyev. I was build for the people who lost their physical health in the Garabakh war – the families of shahids.”
Ilham Aliyev noted that the resolution of the social problems has always been in the focus of attention in Azerbaijan, and that according the instructions of President Heydar Aliyev, the relevant structures have been doing all possible to help people living in hard conditions. “I want to assure you that this issue will be further in the center of the Azerbaijan Government’s attention, and will build more houses for the Garabakh war invalids and the families of shahids,” the Prime Minister stressed.
He said the economic reforms being carried out by Heydar Aliyev, and the oil strategy designed by him “allow us to increase currency reserves and turn Azerbaijan into the rich state. Due to these possibilities, according to Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani state and Government build such beautiful buildings, settlements and towns for the refugees and displaced people.
Prime-Minister Ilham Aliyev focused on the Nagorno-Garabakh problem, as well. He said: “we endeavor Armenia to be recognized as a country-aggressor in all international organizations. We have managed to achieve this in the Council of Europe, despite strong Armenian resistance. And this is our great victory, which will do play a positive role in further negotiation process. We want to solve the problem in peace way, but if we make sure that the peace way is impossible – we have strong army, strong people, strong will and bravery - the lands will be liberated.”
Prime-Minister Ilham Aliyev also touched upon other issues related to the political, economical and social life of the country.
The ceremony was also attended by Department Chiefs of the Presidential Administration Yusif Humbatov and Ali Hasanov, Ministers, Heads of Committees and companies, deputies of the Milli Majlis and other officials.
