Russian Hermitage to mark 870th birthday of Azerbaijani great poet Nizami Ganjavi
Baku, November 30 (AZERTAC). Azeri consul general in Saint Petersburg Gudsi Osmanov and chief of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky came to an agreement on conducting of the 870th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s great poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi in Russian Hermitage.
Mr. Osmanov updated Piotrovsky on the initiative of the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva on creation of the first ongoing exhibition about history and culture of Azerbaijani nation. The protocol of intentions between the State Hermitage and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on creation of the first ongoing exhibition about history and culture of Azerbaijani nation is scheduled for 2012.
