Secretary General hails Azerbaijan’s assuming APA chairmanship as prime example of successful cooperation

“In assuming the chairmanship of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), Azerbaijan has demonstrated its commitment to maintain successful cooperation. Under Azerbaijan's chairmanship, the Assembly has fully implemented its upcoming programs,” said Mohammad Reza Majidi, Secretary General of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, as he addressed the 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) held in Baku.

"Nations and states face different challenges around the world. Parliamentary diplomacy must be further strengthened that we could prevent the collapse of international peace and security. Today, as members of parliament, we must do everything possible," the Secretary General added.
