Secretary of Pro Soualiga Foundation: We hope that the support of the Baku Initiative Group will allow us holding meetings with international organizations

“We hope that with the support of allies like the Baku Initiative Group, we will get the opportunity to hold meetings with the audience we need, especially the UN and its various groups and agencies. This will take us one step closer to re-enlistment and recognition as a non-self-governing territory, and then allow us to move towards independence,” said Renate Bryson, Secretary of the Pro Soualiga Foundation in St. Martin , at the press conference on the outcomes of the international conference titled “French and Dutch Colonialism on St. Martin – One Island, One People, One Destiny”.
He described the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Baku Initiative Group and the One St. Martin Association as a beginning for bilateral agreements driving to beneficial impacts in the future.
