“Azerbaijan’s hosting of COP29 is of great importance for our country, and we are proud to host such a remarkable event,” said Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, during his address on the second day of the Global Summit of Religious Leaders in Baku.
He also highlighted the ongoing security challenges posed by the mines buried by Armenia during its occupation of Azerbaijani territories, noting that they continue to hinder the settlement of local populations.
The Chairman emphasized the significance of the Global Baku Summit of Religious Leaders, recognizing it as a crucial platform for fostering international cooperation.
