SOCAR, Japan’s Yokogawa Electric Corporation sign MoU to advance emission reduction and energy efficiency

Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), met with Seita Hagihar, President of Yokogawa Europe B.V. and vice president of Yokogawa Electric Corporation to discuss strategies for reducing emissions and enhancing energy efficiency.
During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation was inked between SOCAR and Yokogawa Electric Corporation.
The document stipulates the expansion of the current cooperation between the companies.
The MoU outlines joint efforts in optimizing production processes, improving energy efficiency, advancing decarbonization initiatives, reducing emissions, and leveraging digitalization. It also paves the way for exploring opportunities to implement collaborative projects in these areas.
