SOCAR lending official support to 1st International Caspian Energy Forum – 2014
Baku, March 11 (AZERTAC). The State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) lends official support to the 1st International Caspian Energy Forum - 2014 which will be held at Baku Four Seasons Hotel on April 23.
Caspian Energy International Media Group is an organizer of the forum. An active work is currently carried out for preparation of the forum. The forum will be attended by delegates from the countries of the Caspian-Black region and EU. However, representatives of the companies of much broader geographic spectrum (from South-African Republic to Iceland) have already expressed big interest toward participation in the forum.
“We hope that this forum will become a ground for attracting investors into the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan and the entire Caspian-Black Sea region,” Chief Executive Officer of CEIBC Telman Aliyev said.

The First International Caspian Energy Forum - 2014 will be held within the framework of the 15th jubilee of the Caspian Energy International Media Group. The forum will be held annually in the format of the general meeting of the Caspian European Club.
The forum will have a one-day agenda consisting of two parts. The first part will cover the development of the oil-gas, energy and environmental sectors, while the second one is going to focus on the non-oil sector (issues of development of the financial, banking, insurance, leasing, telecommunications, tourism, machine engineering, construction and other sectors of the non-oil industry). Each session will include both a lecture and discussions.
The conference is oriented at involving representatives of government agencies, top managers, experts from the countries of the Caspian-Black Sea region and the EU.
The agenda of the event envisages additional opportunities for the participants to work and communicate during coffee breaks, business lunch and gala reception.
