Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and World Alpagut Federation sign cooperation agreement

A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the World Alpagut Federation. The signing ceremony took place at the foundation's headquarters. This agreement aims to strengthen intercultural cooperation, safeguard Turkic cultural heritage, and promote the international recognition of Alpagut sports.
According to the Foundation, the discussions initially focused on joint efforts to preserve and promote Turkic culture and support the development of Alpagut, a traditional martial art. The significant role of martial arts in preserving the traditions of Turkic peoples was highlighted.
The agreement was signed by the President of the Foundation, Aktoty Raimkulova, and the first vice president of the Federation and Azerbaijani MP, Konul Nurullayeva. Also present at the ceremony were the chairman of the World Alpagut Federation's board, Kutsan Vasif Namazov, and board member Farid Alizade. The promotion of Turkic heritage globally and the transmission of Alpagut to the younger generation were key points of discussion.
Aktoty Raimkulova emphasized the importance of the agreement, stating: "We aim to implement joint projects to promote Turkic culture and popularize Alpagut. This is crucial not only for Alpagut but also for the preservation of Turkic cultural heritage."
Konul Nurullayeva added: "This agreement marks a significant step toward enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation between the two organizations. Alpagut, as a martial art reflecting the values of the Turkic world, is crucial for us, and its preservation and global promotion are of great importance."
Kutsan Vasif Namazov also underscored the significance of the agreement.
Farid Alizade highlighted the importance of Alpagut’s international recognition, noting: "This collaboration will help Alpagut be recognized not only as a martial art but also as an integral part of our culture."
