Turkish Interior Minister: “20 years ago Khojaly genocide was perpetrated before eyes of world and event brings shame on name of humanity”
Baku, February 23 (AZERTAC). “20 years ago the Khojaly genocide was perpetrated before the eyes of the world and the event brings shame on name of humanity,” Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey Idris Naim Sahin told Azerbaijani journalists.
“Turkey condemns all massacres perpetrated against the humanity in the world. Turkey wants the humanity to live. There is no event in history which brings shame on Turkey. Turkish nation has never laid hands on the oppressed people anywhere,” the Minister added.
Shahin also offered condolences to the people of Azerbaijan on the Khojaly genocide.
