Vice president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva organizes Iftar party in Moscow
Moscow, August 30 (AZERTAC). Vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva has organized an Iftar party in Moscow.
The event, marking the end of the Holy month of Ramadan, was held in a Ramadan Tent on the Poklonnaya Gora.
The Iftar party was attended by members of the Azerbaijani diaspora, Azeri students and representatives from different countries.
Speaking to the event, embassy adviser Agshin Aliyev extended Eid ul-Fitr greetings to the audience.
The event featured the demonstration of a film about Azerbaijan and performance of folk music.
An exhibition of Azerbaijani painters reflecting the country`s nature, cultural and historical monuments was arranged in front of the tent.
Speakers at the event thanked Vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
Ramadan Tents on the Poklonnaya Gora are also set up by Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Dagestan, Tatarstan and Ingushetia.
