We believe the 6th plenary meeting of GLOBE Network will yield great results – Vietnam’s Deputy Prosecutor General

“It is a great honor for us to participate in the 6th plenary meeting of the United Nations Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network), organized in Baku by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The professional level of organization by our Azerbaijani colleagues is truly impressive. We believe this event will be held at a high level and will lead to remarkable results,” said Nguyen Quang Dung, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Nguyen Quang Dung also recalled that in March of this year, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Supreme People’s Procuracy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation. The agreement aims to promote joint efforts in combating crime, protecting public interests, and strengthening the institutional capacity of prosecutors.
“We will also continue to support each other in multilateral formats, including within the GlobE Network. We take pride in the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Azerbaijan. Many Vietnamese students once studied in Azerbaijan and today hold senior positions in our government institutions. Additionally, Azerbaijan has significantly contributed to Vietnam’s economic development by supporting our oil industry. We are also grateful to the Azerbaijani people for the support they showed during Vietnam’s struggle for independence,” he emphasized.
