The European Union Commission continues assisting in the solution of social problems in Azerbaijan in the frameworks of TACIS program.

As AzerTAj was informed in the “Europa House”, functioning in Azerbaijan, the “Social assistance to Azerbaijan and pension reforms” project is being implemented in the frameworks of the Program.

The 2-day workshop “Technical assistance to the creation of Social Fund in the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Population” began its work on July 28 at the ‘Crescent Beach’ Hotel.

Future activities of the Fund, ensuring right direction of social assistance, mechanism of implementation of pension reforms will be discussed during the workshop.

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security of Population of Azerbaijan Shamsaddin Khanbabayev, project director Antonis Malagardis and others spoke during the opening of the workshop.
