10 AND 20 ANM BANKNOTES ON CIRCULATION
New 10 and 20 ANM banknotes have been put into circulation. The first banknote depicts the history of the statehood of Azerbaijan. It reflects the ancient Baku, the Palace of Shirvanshahs, description of typical Azerbaijani carpet, and the country’s integration into Europe.
The 20 ANM worth banknote is dedicated to Karabakh symbolizing the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. It reflects a sword, helmet, shield and the Khari Bulbul which is the symbol of peace and national patterns behind.
Protection systems of the new banknotes (30 protection elements) have been defined by the Swiss National Bank.
