Russian Foreign Ministry expresses condolences over attack on Azerbaijan`s embassy in Tehran

Moscow expects that those responsible for Friday’s attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in the Iranian capital of Tehran will be punished, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"We expect that all those responsible will be held accountable," the statement reads. "The incident once again highlights the importance for the authorities of host countries to ensure the safe operation of diplomatic missions in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations dated April 18, 1961," the ministry added.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also offered condolences to Azerbaijan.
