“When building water supply systems, not only water supply, but also wastewater management should be considered,” said Noiro Saito, Senior Director for ADB's Water and Urban Development Sector Office, during the event entitled "UN 2026 Water Conference: Urban housing roadmap” as part of WUF13.
He underlined that in improving any infrastructure system, attention should also be paid to solid waste management.
