50+ vehicles collide in Chile
Baku, October 13 (AZERTAC). In Chile, as a result of a collision more than 50 vehicles crashed killing five people, with over 45 injured. Relevant information was reported by the local authorities.
The major accident occurred on Wednesday near the capital Santiago in heavy fog.
According to rescuers, there were 17 cars, 23 trucks and 11 buses involved in the accident.
Currently, traffic on the highway in all directions to the city stopped.
Medical assistance is being applied to the victims. The death toll could rise.
