67 PEOPLE RESCUED

Lately, lifeguards have saved 67 people at the beaches.

According to the State Beach Salvation service, last year 24 people drowned by August 24, these year 13 accidents have been registered.

The decrease in number of the drowned, first, connected with the measures, taken for the security provision at the beaches. Thus, for the last years, the rescue service has acquired a lot of equipment - motor and inflatable boats and life jackets, which allow rescuing people properly.
