6th Pyongyang Fall Int`l Trade Fair opens
Baku, October 18 (AZERTAC). The Sixth Pyongyang Fall International Trade Fair has opened today.
Ri Thae Nam, vice premier of the Democratic People`s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and O Ryong Chol, vice minister of foreign trade attended the opening ceremony.
Over 140 companies from 19 countries and regions including the DPRK, China, Russia, Germany and Swiss took part in the five-day fair. Items on display included machines, electrical appliances, light industrial products, building materials, pesticide and so on.
O Ryong Chol said the Fair had become a platform for exchange and cooperation between countries and regions, adding that the DPRK will continue to open up for mutual economic gains.
The DPRK has held the annual fall and spring international trade fairs over the past years.
