Goods of USD26841 thousand, registered by customs receipt orders, were delivered to Azerbaijan by physical persons in the first half-year, AzerTAj correspondent was informed by the department of statistics and information technologies of the State Customs Committee.

They also noted that 8035 thousand tons of cargo were transported by means of 80 thousand 961 transport units, 4702.6 thousand tons of them fall to export, while 3332.4 thousand tons fall to import operations.

Railway and motor transport, and pipelines were mainly used in the cargo transportation.

4633073.3 tons of cargo was transported through Azerbaijan by transit. Cargo was mainly directed to Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Switzerland.
