AZERBAIJANI SPECIALISTS TOOK PART IN INTERNATIONAL ENERGETIC EXHIBITION IN TEHRAN
The delegation of Azerbaijan negotiated with Iranian companies, which output represents interest for Azenergy, press-service of Azenergy reports. In particular, they held meetings with heads of energetic companies Tavair and Sanir Co. and discussed a complex of issues directed to widening of intersystem cooperation and realization of joint projects.
Feasibility studies of six projects on new electric transmission lines construction in Azerbaijan promoting the increase of energetic exchange between the two countries from current 200 MWt up to 800 MWt, were submitted to the Iranian colleagues for consideration. All the six projects were approved by the Iranian party, and the agreement on detailed study of the submitted documentation within one month was achieved.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the programs of technical operation of trans-Azerbaijani electric transmission line Astara-Astara, construction of which completed last month. Besides, the parties shared their views on the state of affairs on construction project of the second stage of electric transmission line Imishli (Azerbaijan) - Parsabad (Iran).
The protocols “On development of technical opportunities of energetic exchange between Azerbaijan and Iran” and “On completion of construction of electric transmission line Astara (Azerbaijan) - Astara (Iran) and regime of its operation” were signed according to the results of negotiations.
