AZERBAIJAN AND FINLAND BOOST CUSTOMS COOPERATION

Baku, May 15 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Customs Committee, lieutenant-colonel Aydin Aliyev visited Finland, the Committee`s press-service said.

Accompanied by a large delegation, Mr. Aliyev met with Director General of the National Customs Agency of Finland Tapani Erling.

The sides discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries` customs bodies.

Mr. Erling gave the detailed information about his country`s customs structure.

Aydin Aliyev told of achievements in the customs structures of Azerbaijan and the role of customs bodies in formation of the coutry`s budget revenues and economic security.

Lieutenant-colonel informed about Regional Education Center of the World Customs Organization in Baku.

Mr. Aliyev and Mr. Erling signed agreement on customs cooperation between Azerbaijan and Finland.

Azerbaijani delegation familiarized with customs agency and laboratory of Finland.
