Baku, February 8 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan’s deputy minister of transport Musa Panahov met the Afghan delegation led by Deputy FM of Afghanistan Jawed Ludin.
Musa Panahov briefed the delegation on the reforms, large-scale regional projects, expansion of the international cooperation and the works done in the road-transport sector of Azerbaijan.
The Deputy Minister updated the Afghan delegation on the large projects implemented in the country, including Baku International Sea Trade Port, he works done within the State Program on development of railway and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars new railway project.
The sides discussed the bilateral relations, development of cooperation, participation of Azerbaijan in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan and “Istanbul Process” which will contribute to peace, stability and promotion of development in Afghanistan.
