Azerbaijan, Belarus discuss relations between internal ministries

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov has met with State Secretary of Belarusian Security Council Stanislav Zas to discuss relations between the two countries` internal affairs authorities.
Usubov highlighted the activities of Azerbaijan`s ministry of internal affairs, particularly its fight against organized crime. Usubov stressed the necessity of combining efforts in order to combat international terrorism, illegal migration, illegal drugs trade and cybercrimes.
He also emphasized the importance of socio-economic, legal and democratic reforms carried out in Azerbaijan.
Usubov also hailed relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus. “Friendly ties of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko give impetus to the expansion of cooperation in all areas and to maintenance of the political dialogue.” The minister praised the cooperation between the law-enforcement authorities of the two countries.
Zas hailed wide-scale renovation and reconstruction work carried out in Baku.
He also praised Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation in all areas.
