Azerbaijan attends 13th Annual World Gardening Fair in Tokyo
Baku, May 3 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan has been successfully represented at the 13th Annual World Gardening Fair held in Hotel Okura Tokyo.
This annual event is a rare opportunity to discover the floral elegance of 10 unique countries from across the globe.
At the World Gardening Fair, the wives of ambassadors from 10 countries stationed in Japan create original horticultural compositions in Hotel Okura Tokyo`s Heian Room. It is a showcase of their unique cultures, traditions, and natural environments using trees and flowers representing their countries.
The participants for this year are: Venezuela, United States, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Singapore, Turkey, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
Spouse of Azerbaijani ambassador Rena Ismayilzade presented a composition called “Absheron garden”.
The World Gardening Fair, started on Wednesday with an opening ceremony, was attended by Princess Takamado.
Planning manager of the Hotel Kaname Chukiya told AZERTAC`s special corrpondent that Visitors were able to enjoy viewing examples of gardening from all over the world. He said Azerbaijan`s “Absheron garden” composition was of great interest for participants.
Visitors are able to enjoy viewing examples of gardening from all over the world, including a countryside garden colored by English roses and herbs from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the home of gardening, a patio garden from the Andalusia region of Spain, and many others, mainly centering on Europe. Visitors are also able to enjoy viewing various kinds of roses in each garden.
The 5-day Fair is expected to be visited by more than 20 thousand people.
