Baku Academy of Music`s rector performs in Hungary
Budapest, November 21 (AZERTAC). Rector of the Baku Academy of Music named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, People`s Artist, Professor Farhad Badalbayli gave a concert in Duno Palota in Hungarian capital.
The concert initiated by Azerbaijan Embassy in Hungary was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s regaining its independence.
Farhad Badalbayli accompanied by Hungarian Danube Symphony Orchestra performed Fikrat Amirov`s “Concert on Arabian themes” and other music pieces by Azerbaijani composers.
The concert attended by representative of Hungarian community and diplomatic corps aroused keen interest of the audience.
During his visit, Mr. Badalbayli held meetings with leadership of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music to discuss the ways of boosting collaboration between the two higher schools.
