Belarusian International Media Forum "Partnership for Future" wraps up

The 11th Belarusian International Media Forum "Partnership for the Future" has ended with a panel discussion titled "Contemporary media: new technologies, new opportunities." Belarusian and foreign participants discussed aspects of the Internet as a factor in the formation of a new social-media paradigms of online communities and social responsibility. Discussions also focused on the role of contemporary media and new communications in the integration processes as well as problems of the Internet regulation.
Representatives of the Azerbaijani media also attended the forum.
Speaking at the event, AZERTAC correspondent Zeinal Aghazade pointed out that the agency is searching for new approaches to provide consumers with high-quality and reliable news. He said that AZERTAC takes serious measures to ensure the protection of information assets from cyber-attacks. “Currently AZERTAC has innovative technological equipment necessary for efficient functioning. The agency posts news in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, German, French, Arabic and Chinese languages on its website.”
