DECREE OF PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN
With a view of maintenance of application of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On modification and supplement in the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On provision of pensions of military servicemen” in connection with the introduction of the said Law into effect, I, hereby, decree:
1. To charge the Cabinet of the Republic of Azerbaijan in a month:
1.1. to prepare and present the President of the Azerbaijan Republic of the offer on bringing the existing acts in conformity with the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On modification and supplement to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On provision of pensions of military servicemen”;
1.2. to provide bringing the normative-legal acts of the Cabinet of the Azerbaijan Republic and corresponding central executives power bodies in conformity with the said Law and to inform on it the President of the Azerbaijan Republic;
1.3. within the limits of its powers to solve other questions following from the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On modification and supplement in the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On provision of pensions of military servicemen”.
2. To establish, that:
2.1. stipulated in the first part of the Article 16 of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On provision of pensions of military servicemen” the “powers of relevant executive power body ” are carried out by the Cabinet of the Azerbaijan Republic;
2.2. stipulated in the second part of the Article 16 of the said Law of powers of "relevant executive power body” are carried out by the Ministry of Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic.
3. The Decree inures from the date of publication.
