FIRST AZERBAIJAN-GREECE FORUM TO BE HELD IN BAKU

The first Azerbaijan-Greece Economic Forum will be held in frame of the upcoming official visit of President of Greece Konstantinos Stefanopulos to Baku, AzerTAj correspondent learnt from Ambassador of Greece to Azerbaijan Merkurios Karafotias.

The Ambassador noted that President of Greece would be accompanied by a delegation of 100 businessmen from 94 largest Greek companies. Azerbaijani side will be represented at the Forum by 200 businessmen. According to Mr. Karafotias, Greece has prepared a number of agreements including those on investments protection, customs issues and cooperation in the field of transport. The Forum will be completed with memo signing. It was also noted that Presidents of two large oil-gas corporations will be received by Minister of Fuel and Energy of Azerbaijan Majid Karimov, and hold several meetings in State Oil Company /SOCAR/ and BP.
