Dear Ilham Heydar oglu,
I am sincerely glad to congratulate you on 8 November – Victory Day!
On this day, the friends of Azerbaijan greet the people who used force to restore the territorial integrity of their homeland within its natural borders. 8 November has become the brightest national holiday in the modern history of the country. Many former republics of the USSR gained independence with serious problems, some with insoluble ones. You as the Commander-in-Chief have managed to brilliantly deal with the main problem of Azerbaijan. This victory will also help new generations of the Armenian people to get rid of the obsolete and dangerous phobias in order to live with neighbors in a common atmosphere of cooperation and conscious interdependence.
With all my heart, I wish Azerbaijan peace and prosperity!
I wish the son of great Heydar Aliyev and his family good health and long happy years!
