I would like to congratulate you on your re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I sincerely wish you every success in continuing on the path of reform and on the export diversification agenda you set in previous years.
I am pleased to invite you to the 49th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, which will take place in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from 22 to 25 January 2019.
As demonstrated again by the Annual Meeting last January, there has never been a greater need for a true multistakeholder gathering to shape the global agenda at the beginning of the year.
Given Azerbaijan’s increasingly important role as a transit hub between China and Europe, along with ongoing efforts to strengthen European energy security through the Southern Gas Corridor project, your participation would help to further your country’s contributions to regional and international cooperation.
